The proof that we did go to the Moon
There are several pieces of evidence, and pro-conspiracy people don't bother to mention them!
The same "controversial" photos
Among the same "controversial" photos, there is already evidence that the trip was real! For example, the fact that there was no visible crater under the surface of the Lunar Module is consistent with the dynamics of an atmosphereless environment like the Moon, where the dispersion of gases under pressure is not the same as on Earth; the confusion of perspectives (like the example of the supposedly missing Lunar Module) is consistent with the lack of a lunar atmosphere, since on Earth it is the atmosphere (along with gases and dust particles) that allow us to judge distances to distant objects, such as mountains. Also (although this is best appreciated in video files), the dust particles that rise when -for example- an astronaut walks, describe a perfect parabola, something impossible on Earth due to air resistance, causing the particles to descend slowly and erratically.
Moon rocks: In total, 380 kg of lunar rocks and dust brought back by the Apollo missions, which have a series of characteristics impossible to reproduce with terrestrial rocks; These characteristics are associated with having been exposed for millions of years to solar radiation without any protection from the atmosphere.
There are extensive references in NASA files describing the chemical composition of rocks, data that has been analyzed and endorsed by scientists around the world.
laser reflectors: Laser retro reflectors (technically Laser Ranging Retro-Reflector) are mirrors whose objective was to reflect a laser beam to calculate distances to the Moon at different times, with high precision. It is an experiment that was carried out by Apollo XI, annual. The installation of these mirrors is complex enough to require human support from astronauts.
Follow-up: The Apollo missions that took astronauts to the Moon were followed by professionals and amateurs, both with optical observations by telescope and audio by radio amateurs, who had access to the transmissions that the astronauts sent to Houston.
There are detailed records, especially by radio amateurs, who were able to cover a large part of each mission in parallel to NASA, demonstrating that there was free access to witness the missions from start to finish.
Galileo's theory in situ: On the Apollo XV mission, astronaut David Scott performed a simple but effective experiment: he dropped a hammer and a feather and they hit the ground at the same time, something impossible on Earth due to air resistance. This experiment proved that Galileo was right when he said that "objects of different masses fall at the same speed in a vacuum," and as it could not be otherwise, the best place to test it was the Moon, lacking atmosphere and air. The original video sequence of this experiment is available here.
In conclusion…
Apollo XI did indeed reach the Moon, with Neil Armstrong's memorable and historic "giant step for Mankind." Missions XII, XIV, XV, XVI and XVII also did so, with the exception of Apollo XIII, which suffered technical problems and had to return without landing. The supposed "anomalous" photos, far from being faked, constitute an extensive and detailed record that man did indeed set foot on the Moon on July 20, 1969. Something worth celebrating!
