The theory that various governments around the world, especially the US, have planned conspiracies to hide the truth about various issues related to space is not new. One of them, however, involves a milestone in the history of Humanity: the arrival of man on the Moon. The Apollo program managed to place missions XI, XII, XIV, XV, XVI and XVII on the lunar surface, and its astronauts carried out a series of experiments on its surface; However, the theory that everything was a fraud began to gain strength; that we never reached the Moon, that the landings were faked and everything was filmed in a TV studio, deceiving millions of people. And they say they have proof. Many tests. Let's see what this is about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pseudoscience says...<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Apollo moon landings were a fraud. In reality we never reached the Moon, it was all a gigantic conspiracy by the US to appear to have won the space race against the USSR. The main evidence of fraud is in the photographs sent by the missions, which show a series of inconsistencies and impossible facts that demonstrate this setup and demonstrate that everything was a hoax, the biggest and darkest in the history of NASA.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The idea that the Apollo moon landings were faked has been around for quite some time, although initially it was just rumors, simply doubts about the impressive and admirable feat, which at first glance seemed impossible. But this rumor gained strength from a documentary broadcast by FOX in 2001, called "Conspiracy Theory: Did we land on the Moon?<\/em>\u00ab, presented by actor Mitch Pileggi from the series The X-Files. In this program a series of \u00abevidence\u00bb against the moon landings was presented, which was enough to unleash a controversy and division between defenders and opponents of the conquest of the Moon, that July 20, 1969. Below I will go over the supposed evidence of fraud, presenting the scientific arguments against it. There is solid evidence that we did go to the Moon, and some of it, paradoxically, can be seen in the \u00abcontroversial\u00bb photographs themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A simple contrast and brightness treatment on the image reveals this fact much better, ruling out the possibility that it is a "gigantic shadow", but simply a close-up<\/em> of one of the engines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the many arguments cited above, I hope that the alleged anomalies of some lunar photos have become clear. However, pro-conspiracy people also often mention other "suspicions" of fraud, about which it is only necessary to resort to common sense and think objectively.<\/p>\n\n\n

For example, the impossibility of reaching the Moon with the available technology is cited, arguing the curious fact that the Apollo computers had a much lower capacity than that of a current desktop PC; the program's previous failures, such as the Apollo I disaster in 1967 that cost the lives of its three astronauts, whose errors would have been impossible to repair in just 2 years; and the desperation to gain space leadership from the Soviets, taking place in the middle of the Cold War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These points, however, are not concrete evidence that the US has decided to rig the landings; Several tests were carried out prior to the historic Apollo XI, which, along with other lunar missions, brought compelling evidence of this journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Among the same "controversial" photos, there is already evidence that the trip was real! For example, the fact that there was no visible crater under the surface of the Lunar Module is consistent with the dynamics of an atmosphereless environment like the Moon, where the dispersion of gases under pressure is not the same as on Earth; the confusion of perspectives (like the example of the supposedly missing Lunar Module) is consistent with the lack of a lunar atmosphere, since on Earth it is the atmosphere (along with gases and dust particles) that allow us to judge distances to distant objects, such as mountains. Also (although this is best appreciated in video files), the dust particles that rise when -for example- an astronaut walks, describe a perfect parabola, something impossible on Earth due to air resistance, causing the particles to descend slowly and erratically.<\/p>\n\n\n

Moon rocks<\/strong>: In total, 380 kg of lunar rocks and dust brought back by the Apollo missions, which have a series of characteristics impossible to reproduce with terrestrial rocks; These characteristics are associated with having been exposed for millions of years to solar radiation without any protection from the atmosphere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
